Novair donates fresh air to the Accademia Gallery and Michelangelo's David

The Galleria dell'Accademia of Florence is one of the most famous and frequented museums in Italy. It is also known as the "Michelangelo Museum" being the center containing the highest number of statues on display sculpted by the famous Renaissance artist. The most popular is the magnificent Michelangelo's David, the symbol of Florence.

The needs

The ventilation system of the Gallery, precisely the one of Galleria dei Prigioni and Tribuna del David di Michelangelo, was outdated and it did not fully meet the needs of the museum. The ventilation was poor, and the air regulation was not adequate for the needs of this space. An institution of great importance such as the Gallery, containing masterpieces of inestimable value, requires high air quality and a microclimate suitable for the preservation of these works of art and for the well-being of visitors and employees.
